Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your love of nature and the outdoors with your desire to help support and educate our youngest minds?
We are currently seeking a Coordinator to join our Early Learning and Play team.
Based in beautiful Port Macquarie, the mission of The Nature School is to develop a community where children learn and shine through authentic experiences in nature to become engaged global citizens. Our Early Learning and Play Instructors help foster each child’s skill building, and in turn their holistic development.
The Nature School Early Years program is for young children aged 3-5 years, and operates completely outdoors. Each term has a set program and set of skills to be focused on, including shelter building, knot tying and lashings, tool use, fauna and flora identification, fire safety, bush walking and arts and crafts using natural resources.
Our instructors help facilitate children’s growth and their individual journey to become confident and competent young individuals who are curious and expand on their independent thinking.
