We are currently recruiting for two Earthworks Supervisors to join our exciting new Sustaining Project at Rio Tinto's Hope Downs 1 on a 2/1, days only roster! The successful candidates must be able to start on 10 June 2024.
The Hope Downs 1 Sustaining project is enabling a scope of works to facilitate the HD1 Sustaining Expansion of Bedded Hilltop and Hope Downs 2 Development.
Responsibilities:
The Scope of Works will entail:
- Construction of camp pad, access road and services corridors including clearing, bulk and detailed earthworks, drainage etc.
- Supply and construction of temporary Water and Fuel Facilities and ongoing maintenance
- Borrow pit establishment, earthworks, and fencing
- Supply and installation of temporary EPCM offices and ongoing maintenance
- Ongoing road maintenance
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar environment supervising projects in bulk earthworks, roads (new & maintenance), camp/office pads, trenching etc
- Preferably hold a valid HR Licence
- Must hold a current White Card
- Preferably hold current Rio Inductions or willing to obtain
- Must hold a Section 26 or Section 44 Appointed Persons qualification
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook and Excel)
- Ideally familiar with Procore, Dashpivot, Smartsheet and MyOSH
