Job description

Are you a passionate kaiako looking for a homely centre with a supportive team?

We are on the lookout for an amazing Registered Teacher to join our team and inspire our tamariki to reach their full potential. As a kaiako you will work with children of all ages to create stimulating, creative and inspiring learning environments!

About us:

Picture a place where your little one gets to explore, create, and learn through play and collaboration. In our Reggio Emilia-inspired centre, our Kaiako act as facilitators, guiding children's learning and supporting their interests and ideas. The environment is designed to be sensory-rich, with natural materials and open-ended resources. We love being apart of our community and going on regular excursions to places such as ST Andrews Resthome, Cambridge Library, House of Wonder Vegetable Garden and more!

About You:

Our ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a high standard of care to all our children and have a warm, caring and kind disposition. You will be an outstanding communicator, friendly, approachable and enjoy a challenge.   A genuine passion and ability to respond to the development needs of our tamariki through planning and curriculum would also be high on the list of skills we are looking for. An ECE or Primary NZ Qualification and a NZ Teachers Practising certificate is a must!

As a valued member of our team, you can be assured of:

  • Full Pay Parity!
  • A comprehensive induction program with regular and ongoing mentoring and professional development
  • Discounted childcare
  • Full reimbursement for teacher registration costs
  • First Aid certification, annual flu vaccination and staff uniforms
  • A generous PLD budget where you can choose PLD for your own learning
  • A monthly staff wellbeing budget and access to EAP services
  • A supportive and highly skilled team to work alongside

If you're a Registered Teacher who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children, we want to hear from you. Apply today to join our team and be part of a team that values innovation and creativity!

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
