Job DescriptionSecondary Science Teaching Opportunity in 2024, commencing during Term 2, 2024Mount Evelyn Christian School has a position available for a Science Secondary Teacher commencing Monday 13th May, 2024. This is a fixed contract position, ending 21st January 2025 or by negotiation.This is a 0.35 - 0.5 FTE position, across an 7-8 day fortnight. There is the possibility of increased hours for the right applicant.The successful applicants will need to:· Be in agreement with, and actively commit to, the Christian ethos and Core Values as expressed in the MECS 'Focus on Identity' document (available on our website).· Demonstrate skill and experience as a Secondary Teacher.· Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills and have the capacity to build rapport with a variety of stakeholders.· Be able to prioritise, problem solve, demonstrate initiative and utilise common sense.Mount Evelyn Christian School provides Christ-centered schooling with learning experiences that challenge each student to actively live for God in His world, while partnering with Christian parents in the nurture of their children.
