The Opportunity

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to support drive sales growth and optimise operational efficiency in the fast-paced world of online retail. From developing and supporting sales execution strategies to managing promotional activities and ensuring an exceptional customer experience, you'll play a key role in shaping our online sales success.

With a focus on innovation and collaboration, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to align our online sales strategy with broader business objectives. Leveraging data-driven insights and market trends, you'll identify opportunities for growth and drive continuous improvement in our online sales channels.

Role and Responsibilities

Sales Strategy Development and Execution:

- Support the development and execution of online sales/business strategy to achieve desired sales growth

- Identify sales gaps, conduct analysis, and implement contingency plans to consistently meet sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Sales Performance Monitoring and Analysis:

- Monitor and analyse sales performance, providing regular reporting on traffic conversion and promotional effectiveness and collaborate with internal analytics resources to extract insights from data

Sales Portals and Microsites Management:

- Manage sales portals and microsites, including owning promotional activities and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information upload.

- Input and update information on the e-commerce platform management system (e.g., duration, products, promotions, stock-on-hand, price)

System Operations and Issue Resolution:

- Monitor the operation of the system, identifying potential issues, and working towards sound resolutions

Sell-out Enhancement Programs:

- Support the ideation, creation, and execution of sell-out enhancement programs with internal DTC team, product category teams, and marketing functions

E-commerce Platform Operations:

- Assist in the conceptual and technical operation of the e-commerce platform and collaborate with business users to discuss, recommend, explain, and reconcile desired functionality and technology capabilities

Content Management and Web Merchandising:

- Utilise content management systems for product, price, and promotional management across the Samsung online ecosystem

- Drive web merchandising, web content, and web design to optimise the customer journey and conversions

Digital Experience Optimisation:

- Collaborate with the wider Direct-to-Consumer team to optimise the customer journey and drive conversions and Champion the delivery of category-defining digital experience.

The nature of this role and level of responsibility may require reasonable additional hours over and above 37.5 hours per week and may also require work outside of ordinary hours.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Marketing, or related field experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in e-commerce sales, sales operations, sales strategy, or as a Sales Coordinator within a fast-paced environment, Open to industries in the FMCG, consumer electronics, online retail or related industry
  • Demonstrated creative background with the ability to develop original content for digital audiences
  • Familiarity with web-based tools and experience using content management systems.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce content management systems, preferably SAP Hybris and proficiency in Google and Adobe Analytics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint presentations
  • Intermediate working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and other relevant technologies (desirable)
