The Role You Could Play:
As the eCommerce Trade and Content Manager, you will play a key role in delivering annual sales target through merchandise Trade and Content strategy. You will partner closely with Brands & Buying, Brands & Marketing, Performance Marketing, Digital Product and CRM teams to build robust online strategy and drive ongoing innovation for the MECCA website experience.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading key projects to optimize our customer journey and drive trade
- Creating, managing and delivering an end-to-end eCommerce Merchandise trade plan for the category
- Driving the merchandising strategy for the eCommerce websites/app across Australia & NZ
- Manage strategy for onsite promotions relevant to the category
- Improve customer experience, content conversion and engagement
- Oversee content calendar to support relevant campaigns and evergreen content
- Drive improved usability, design and innovation on site
What You Will Bring:
You will have proven experience in trade/online merchandise with exposure to digital/marketing and sound commercial acumen, highly numerate and excellent planning & analytical capabilities.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following:
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor and develop team members
- Outstanding organisational and planning skills with ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to manage and present to stakeholders at all levels across the business
- Experience in using analytical tools to draw insights and report on website performance (Google Analytics preferred)
- An understanding of SEO
You will have a customer-centric approach and a good understanding of trends in the retail market, beauty industry and eCommerce space as well as a proactive approach to developing new ideas, improvements and solutions.
