About the Opportunity
Working with the City Activation Manager, this role is an exciting opportunity to assist with the leadership and management of a range of programs and services that contribute to the delivery of the City of Palmerston Local Economic Plan (PLEP) including:
Opportunities for economic growth
Economic partnerships and engagement
Economic analysis
Economic development
Assist in investment attraction
About You
To be successful in the role, you must have:
Proficiency in developing economic business cases, analysing complex data, and producing high-level reports.
An understanding and application of community and Economic Development principles and practices.
Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of Economic Development issues in the public sector, with adeptness in change management.
Proven experience in networking, advocacy, negotiation, and strategic planning, fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
Strong ability in analysis, research, and translating findings into strategic and project planning and management.
Demonstrated understanding and application of place making principles.
Proven financial understanding and business acumen.
A strong ability to identify, develop, and manage stakeholders to achieve high-quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.
