This childcare centre located in Lilyfield cater for 90 children each day and work with extra staff each day. This ensure you get the right amount of programming time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of educators in the delivery of educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative curriculum plans that promote children's holistic development across all developmental domains.
- Foster strong relationships with children, families, and the community, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor children's progress and identify areas for growth and development.
- Stay abreast of current research, trends, and best practices in early childhood education, and integrate new knowledge into practice.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Dip Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification).
- Food handling certificate
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and relevant legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Current First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain).
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
