AddressCode Four is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Video Editor to join our dynamic event production team based on the Gold Coast. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our diverse, globally dispersed team, creating high end content for several global event brands including Pacific Airshow. This position requires a strong work ethic, dedication, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to meet project deadlines.
As a Video Editor, you will work closely with our creative team to understand project requirements and produce visually compelling content that meets our brand standards. The ideal candidate is proficient in video editing software, possesses a keen eye for detail, and has a strong understanding of storytelling techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of video production projects for multiple global event brands, ensuring they align with the agency's vision and client requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, marketers, and production staff, to understand project goals and deliver exceptional visual solutions.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of each event brand's unique style and target audience to create visually appealing and engaging content.
- Edit raw footage to create polished and visually appealing videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboard ideas.
- Ensure video content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and style.
- Incorporate music, dialogue, graphics, and effects to enhance the overall production value.
- Manage and organise video files and assets for efficient workflow and future reference.
- Attend events and be on-site when design support is required.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in industry standard software such as Premiere, Final Cut, Da Vinci or similar programs.
- Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
- Proficiency in colour grading
- Motion Graphics experience a huge plus
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual aesthetics.
