Mike Carney Group has an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Editor Website Specialist to join our team in Townsville.
As an Editor/Website Specialist, the primary focus is to meticulously curate and refine all content associated with the brand. This entails maintaining a keen eye for detail while editing various forms of content, including but not limited to articles, blog posts, website copy, and multimedia materials. The role involves ensuring that all content aligns with the brand's tone, style, and messaging guidelines, while also adhering to grammatical and stylistic standards. Additionally, the Editor/Website Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall user experience by optimizing content for readability, search engine visibility, and engagement.
Key Job Function & Accountabilities:
- Advance Video Editing Skills
- Advanced Photo Editing Skills
- Ability to edit short form videos for social media usage
- Basic Graphic design
- Responsible for some general admin task’s
- Basic photography Skills
- Basic Videography Skills
- Basic Website skills - with the willingness to learn
- Assist with digital media “copy write” & control use.
- Understand the capabilities of each product and show this in a multimedia advertising context.
- Understand the business from a multimedia marketing view.
- Be brand and compliance aware.
- Be across all brand guidelines
- Knowledge of current and emerging digital media consumption trends
- Knowledge of current and emerging digital media production equipment
