YOu willaslo be responsible for pitching, brief writing and editing Editorial Content for the member base and for future memebers.Ideally you are a meticulous editor, skilled writer and natural communicator, with 4-5 years of experience working at an agency, publisher, or in-house in the health & well-being industry.Responsibilities:
- Work directly on the content strategy, with a focus on how written content can help engage readers at every stage of the funnel
- Collaborate with Social, CRM, Product, Brand and PR teams to create highly engaging content across our key pillars
- Own the editorial calendar. Execute month-to-month planning based around customer insights, cultural moments, industry trends, new research and talent news
- Research, pitch and brief content angles.
- Edit drafts, refine headlines, curate image selections - creating a rich and high-quality content experience is your biggest focus.
- Work with external experts to uphold our standards of editorial credibility.
- Collaborate with the CMS Team to project manage the full editorial workflow with a focus on accurate, error-free content that reflects our tone of voice and is delivered on time.
- Report on content performance, leveraging data and insights to inform the content strategy and maximise engagement.
- Solid professional experience in, and an understanding of, holistic wellness is essential
- Experience working in the health and well-being category is critical
- Considerable experience in an editorial or copywriting role, demonstrating a high level of comfort and proficiency in editing and providing feedback to writers
- Highly-competent writer, with an understanding of long-form content best practice including SEO
- Able to elevate the work of professional writers, edit confidently, and act as a guardian for our brand voice across all channels.
- Comfortable working with a CMS
- SEO literate - both from a writing and a research perspective
- Excellent understanding of digital content creation and amplification across owned channels
- Experience as a creative collaborator working with not only writers, but video editors and graphic designers
- Confident presenter. The ability to articulate ideas, pitch a great angle, or explain a strategy.
- Digital native with strong skills in the full Google Suite, project management software, and business intelligence & analytics software.
