What you will be doing
Reporting directly to the Education Lead, in this role you will be responsible for:
• Implementing relevant elements of the VEC's Access and Inclusion plans in relation to young people, including training facilitation and delivery
• End-to-end project management of electoral and civics education initiatives, including the Passport to Democracy Program
• Initiating and managing partnerships and high visibility projects with external agencies within the Education and Youth sector
• Supporting the delivery of outreach and education activities for priority communities
What you will bring to the role
• Proven experience in the program management of community based or school programs, preferably through projects which align with the current Victorian school curriculum
• An ability to present complex ideas in an engaging way to diverse audiences, including schools and community groups
• An education degree or equivalent
• A current and valid driver's licence, and the ability to travel throughout the State
• Commitment to the VEC's core vales
