What you will be doing
Reporting directly to the Education Lead, in this role you will be responsible for:
- Implementing relevant elements of the VEC's Access and Inclusion plans in relation to young people, including training facilitation and delivery
- End-to-end project management of electoral and civics education initiatives, including the Passport to Democracy Program
- Initiating and managing partnerships and high visibility projects with external agencies within the Education and Youth sector
- Supporting the delivery of outreach and education activities for priority communities
- Proven experience in the program management of community based or school programs, preferably through projects which align with the current Victorian school curriculum
- An ability to present complex ideas in an engaging way to diverse audiences, including schools and community groups
- An education degree or equivalent
- A current and valid driver's licence, and the ability to travel throughout the State
- Commitment to the VEC's core vales
