Education Assistant – Special Needs (Single Child)

Perth Waldorf School Invites applications for an Education Assistant – Working with a Single Child (4 or 5 days per week. School time only. 8.30am - 3.05pm)

Commencing as soon as possible

PWS is seeking an enthusiastic and empathic individual to join the school in the role of Education Assistant – working with a Single Child.  This is a rare opportunity for a person with the ability to oversee and closely work with a Single Child with additional needs including neurodiversity. The role involves you supporting a child through their primary schooling so they can reach their potential. 

The successful applicant will assist the teacher in:

• delivering planned education programs and
• encouraging a supportive and inclusive learning environment. 
• You will have the ability to work under limited supervision.  An initiative taker will be highly regarded.

Our school is very attractive to work in: 

• it is located in a bush setting near Bibra Lake in the southern suburbs of Perth (approx. 20 minutes from the CBD and 15 minutes from Fremantle)
• we provide a high-quality Steiner education from Playgroup to Class 12
