A replacement positionexists within the Trinity Senior School, to work as part of the Learning Inclusion team to provide support to students and enhance engagement with student learning. This position is 5 x 6.5-hour days, term time only and until the end of the 2024 school year, with the desired arrangement of hours being 8:30am-3:30pm.
Key accountabilities include:
- Provide classroom and administrative support for teaching and learning programs with the aim to improve student learning opportunities
- To help support and develop student wellbeing initiatives
- Individual and small group supervision
- To support the Christian Ethos of the College and be aware and participate in the College’s mandatory reporting policies
What you will need to succeed:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage professionally and by Trinity College Values
- Flexible availability
- Organisation skills
- Empathy, patience and integrity
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
- Certificate III in Education Support
- Knowledge of Trauma Informed Practice
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training (onsite training available)
Please be aware that the there are some mandatory conditions to meet before commencing employment, which include:
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Agreeing to the Trinity College Child Safe Policies
- Training in Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse and Neglect in Education and Care settings (RRHAN-EC masterclass)
