This is an exciting opportunity to be part of TAFE NSW Information Technology team, based at St Leonards campus in the Sydney region. As a casual Education Support Officer, you will be responsible for a range of tasks and student assistance activities, which directly and indirectly supports learning and enhances the educative process.

You will love this role if you thrive on solving problems and helping others. You will be a part of a dynamic team, supporting students to successfully carry out tasks and understand their learning materials and concepts whilst creating an innovative and exciting educational environment

If you have…

  • Certificate III (or above) in Information Technology
  • High-level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to be proactive and show initiative and ability to explain ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and to provide quality customer service as part of a broader team
  • Commitment and ability to support learning in an adult environment and a demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage students
  • Ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used in the discipline.
