  • Temporary 10 month Full time opportunity  
  • Location: Willing to consider candidates across all NSW locations. Preference will be given to candidates based regionally, with a focus on Queanbeyan, Armidale, Dubbo and Coffs Harbour  
  • Salary ranging from $79,032 to $86,539 p.a. plus superannuation

About you 

  • Prepare Training Program timetables and schedules for national delivery within agreed timeframes by liaising with agency staff, trainers and industry bodies and assist with promotion to maximise attendance and answer queries from prospective participants
  • Assists with the delivery of training events nationally including supporting the management of expressions of interest, registrations and evaluations to ensure accurate information and reports are recorded accurately
  • Assist with the processes associated with the development of educational products and resources.
  • Assist with meeting program reporting and evaluation requirements
  • Liaise with Departmental staff, employers, contractors and the beekeeping industry to ensure timeliness of program delivery milestones
  • Provide administrative support to the National Varroa Mite Training team to enable the achievement of program deliverables

Essential Requirements 

  • Current NSW Class C Driver’s License 
  • Ability and willingness to travel. 

About the role 

The role assists with the delivery of Varroa Mite Management education and training nationally to commercial and recreational beekeepers as part of the National Response Plan V4 and provides administrative support to the National Varroa Mite Education and Training program, undertaking a range of activities related to the scheduling, delivery and monitoring of training delivery and resource development to achieve the objectives of the program.
