Who we are:
Djerriwarrh Community College is a registered Independent Specialist Senior Secondary School based in Melton. The College delivers the Victorian Pathway Certificate and VCE- Victorian Major for students aged 15-19 years. It provides a safe and inclusive learning environment for young people who may have been disengaged or are at risk of disengaging from education.
About this role:
Working under the direction of the Principal and the Education Support Coordinator, the Education Support Worker will support the learning outcomes for students who need significant adjustments and interventions to their learning program. This position will involve working in collaboration with the Principal, Wellbeing staff and Teaching staff. The role will include some administration duties.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of Certificate III in Education Support is required.
- Demonstrated experience working within a flexible learning environment would be advantageous.
