Help shape the future of children in our care

As one of our highly valued Assistant Educators at our C&K Coorparoo Kindergarten, you’ll support and guide children’s learning and development, so they become curious, capable and confident lifelong learners.

You will be working on a permanent part time basis. During School Terms the shift will be 1.35 pm up to 6 pm every Monday to Friday and during Holidays there will be flexibility to choose between morning (7.45 am up to 12 pm)/ afternoon (12 pm to 6 pm) or full day (7.45 am up to 6 pm) shifts. This position commences 08 January 2024.

Using your skills, ideas and passion for education, you’ll create a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment for children, their families and our wider community. And you’ll be supported by a team of kind, humble people and leaders who share their knowledge to help you learn, grow and achieve more than you ever thought possible.

You’ll help shape the future of children in our care by collaborating with your colleagues to creative a nurturing environment while developing meaningful relationships with the children and their families.

What you’ll bring

Whether you’re an experienced early childhood professional, newly graduated or just commencing your studies, if you’re energetic, fun and committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success!

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have or be willing to work towards:

  • A minimum of a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
  • A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
