Early Childhood Educator – Preschool Room
Charlestown East Preschool is gearing up for an exciting 2024 and looking for two amazing educators to join the team! We have two roles we are looking to fill.
Cert three/Diploma - up to 30 hours per week
Cert three/Diploma - lunch and programming cover - up to 5 hours per day

What we're looking for:
A demonstrated understanding of:
- National Quality Framework (NQF);
- Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF);
- Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting;
- Workplace Health and Safety and practices
Even more importantly:
- You love to work with older children (3-5)
- A can do and self-starter attitude
- A willingness to learn and grow
- You’re proactive and passionate
Your skills and qualifications:
- An approved Certificate III or Diploma qualification (or Working Towards) for the purposes of the education and care services, national law and regulations
Your key priorities will be to:
- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, other educators, and the centre community
- Develop and implement an innovative learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice with a focus on transitioning to school
- Document children’s learning and development
- Plan learning experiences, set up environments for play, prepare and clean the environment
- Interact and engage with children to ensure they are learning and thriving
