Hearts and Minds Early Learning is a new childcare provider currently operating three Early Learning Centres across WA & ACT.
Hearts and Minds Early Learning McKellar offers state of the art facilities and resources with warm and inviting indoor spaces and exciting outdoor nature play areas. The service features an outstanding quality kitchen and dining area where families and children can gather and share experiences, as well as dedicated art and craft studios for every age range.
Our service is positioned directly opposite Belconnen Soccer club & we see this as a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of the local community.

About the role
We are looking for an engaged, enthusiastic & professional educators ready to hit the ground running to help grow this centre in the community with fun, laughter & positive relationships, we are currently looking for all types of qualified educators.
You will:
- Possess a genuine desire to care for and develop children aged 0-5 years.
- Have completed, or be willing to complete a Working With Vulnerable People Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Previous experience in delivering high quality education and care ( long day setting preferable).
- Work closely with the Educational leader to implement educational programs that demonstrate a superior understanding of the NQF & EYLF
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to develop warm and respectful relationships with children and families
- Computer literacy as we provide electronic programming and portfolios.

Skills and experience
- A commitment to delivering high quality care and NQF indicators
- Ability to be innovative, creative and engaging
- First Aid Certificate and Valid Working with vulnerable people check
- Understand the regulatory requirements listed in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards, with focus to provide an excellent level of education and care to the children at the centre-based service.
