Your ImpactAsahi presents an opportunity to take EHS responsibility for our sites at Huntingwood and Prospect and help them continue their performance in environment, health, safety, risk management and supporting the wellbeing of the team through injury management and return to work. You will partner with the business in the development, implementation and improvement of key EHS and injury management and return to work processes and provide consultancy, training, coaching and technical support to local personnel. Performance reporting, implementation of standards and conducting audits will also form a key part of your remit.
Key responsibilities- Review and implementation of local EHS procedures and the implementation of national EHS requirements.
- Reviewing current EHS performance with an eye on improvement and optimisation.
- Improve EHS incident and risk management processes through coaching and support to ensure timely reporting, recording, investigation and closing of corrective actions.
- Drive local EHS improvement programs and provide regular status updates.
- Develop and deliver training packages on systems and processes in both individual and group settings.
- Support the implementation of the Asahi Critical Control program
- Support injury management and return to work and liaise with the National Workers Compensation and Injury Management team.
- Develop strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
- Coach for leadership accountability in driving the safety and wellbeing culture program
About You- Experience in the planning, development and implementation of health and safety compliance programs and management systems.
- Qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Experience with return to work and rehabilitation.
- Minimum of three years' experience in an EHS Role in a manufacturing/FMCG environment.
- Intimate knowledge of ISO &/or Safety Management systems and extensive experience in their application in an FMCG environment.
- Outstanding stakeholder management, leadership and influencing skills across all levels (without direct line authority).
- Working knowledge of relevant Environmental & Workplace Health & Safety Legislation and Australian Standards.
- “Can do” attitude and a record of achievement in delivering best in class EHS performance.
- Solutions-focussed mindset with a strong understanding of the drivers of EHS compliance.
