About the role:
The services of an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation planner is required to join the Leach and Electrical Maintenance team of a Tier 1 mining company.
Responsibilities include:
- Electrical maintenance planning;
- Major outage work pack development;
- Defining Scope of Work for identified tasks, within budget;
- Sourcing lead items and materials, and cataloguing where required;
- Organising specialist services, and managing execution and delivery;
- Improving Master Date and BOM;
- Developing work packs and detailed method statements;
- Identifying all cranage, scaffolding, cleaning and welding requirements;
- Conforming to site QA/QC requirements within the work packs;
- Communicating and coordinating maintenance activities with the production department;
- Coordinating off-site fabrication and repairs;
- Detailing safety requirements for each task;
- Analysing historical data to develop efficient maintenance procedures.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Proven experience in a Planner or Scheduling role;
- Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems and maintenance best practices;
- Excellent organisational and communication skills;
- Proficiency in reading electrical and instrumentation drawings, understanding control systems, and troubleshooting E&I equipment is crucial;
- Previous experience with Instrumentation Systems and/or a chemical refinery will be highly regarded;
- Relevant qualification in Electrical Instrumentation;
- High Voltage Switching Operations Course;
- SAP Maintenance System Training;
- Primavera System Training;
- Microsoft Project Planner Training;
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, as well as a drug/alcohol screening;
- Full Australian working rights, residing in Perth.
