A key role responsible for the successful installation & commissioning of Engineered System (ES) projects and Service responsibilities. The successful candidate will be trained & working on Ultra-Filtration (UF), Reverse Osmosis (RO), EDR, EDI, MBR, MABR, and chemical feed systems.
The role will be based in Western Australia (Perth Area) but will provide Commissioning and Services support to sites across Australia and New Zealand with the ability to travel, as needed – approx. 70% of
the time.
Primary Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
● Ensure safe work practices including the development and implementation of safe work method statements, risk assessments, injury and incident reporting and other WHS requirements for own area of work.
● Installing and commissioning Veolia WTS equipment at designated locations through-out the ANZ region.
● Service & operate water treatment equipment at designated locations through-out the ANZ region.
● Investigating problems and diagnosing and repairing faults
● Conducts preventative maintenance, CIP’s and calibration on designated water treatment plants.
● Provides service support & technical training to prescribed customer sites.
● Making improvements and offering advice to operational procedures and customer requests
● Manage on site commissioning for the project team and liaising with different stakeholders at designated locations through-out the ANZ region.
● Acts as the local technical consultant and liaison with customer management and customer representatives at these sites
● All procedures, process and behaviour comply with WTS Code of Conduct, EEO and Anti-discrimination principles.
● Relays Customer feedback to ES Management, Commercial and/or Engineering Department.

Qualifications & Background (Required):
● The ideal candidate would have a degree or diploma in any discipline of engineering, with at least 2 years of experience in commissioning water treatment systems and their components or 3 years + of water treatment operations and/or maintenance experience & Mechanical & Electrical Trades Certificates will be also looked very favourably
● Ability to work in and with cross-functional teams and communicate directly with customers.
● Be able to demonstrate you have the ability to prioritise, plan, organise work, meet deadlines, multitask, with limited direction.
● Preference if had previous experience with all water treatment equipment, instruments & analysers
● Knowledge of water treatment systems and equipment. Ultra-Filtration (UF), Reverse Osmosis (RO), EDR, EDI, MBR, MABR, pumps, motors, FDA, filtration, UPW and chemical feed systems would be preferred.
● Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
