About the Role:
The EL 1 Assistant Director Clinical Advice and Design (Labour Hire) is accountable under broad direction to undertake very complex work that delivers quality outcomes within the research and evaluation functions of our Australian Government client.
The position will exercise a considerable degree of independence to engage in very complex problem-solving and issues management within the branch. The position requires exercising sound decision-making and judgement to produce high-level policy Advice and operational support.
The EL1 Assistant Director Clinical Advice and Design (Labour Hire) is required to coordinate and assume responsibility for undertaking detailed or sensitive projects that may include performing varied activities involving many different and unrelated processes or methods. These may impact the strategic or operational outcomes that support the client's business objectives.
The position is responsible for actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and, where required, will represent and negotiate on behalf of the client to advance their interests across a range of forums.
Duties:
- Plan and conduct workshops and other events with key stakeholders.
- Use co-design methods that support the development of clinical and non-clinical assessments and health surveys.
- Develop and implement stakeholder communication plans that support codesign and engagement activities.
- Write clear concise reports that communicate research findings, conclusions and implications for policy and service design.
Required experience and skills for the Role include:
- Experience in the development or administration of clinical assessments.
- Experience managing large-scale research programs.
- Qualitative research experience.
- Health sector stakeholder engagement experience.
Desirable experience and skills for the Role include:
- Health professional qualification.
- Experience in workforce development or education.
