Our client is seeking to engage an EL1 Information Management Process Manager on a contract for 6 months with possibility of extension. Role Overview: An EL1 Process Manager is accountable to plan, lead and manage a range of human and physical resources and exercise the associated people and financial responsibilities to achieve business outcomes. They will develop and implement work plans, processes and reviews, focusing on identifying opportunities for building team capability and continuous improvement. They will set work that align with the strategic objectives and communicate expected outcomes. They are accountable under broad direction to perform and achieve complex to very complex knowledge management work within an integrated workforce. The duties of an EL1 Knowledge Manager occupation in the Department include the following:Accountable for leading a team, managing allocated resources, setting work area priorities, managing workflows, developing strategies and evaluating business outcomes.Accountable for managing and leading a team, including providing clear and consistent communication, setting clear performance and behavioural standards, managing performance, delegating responsibility and guiding and developing people.Accountable for accurate completion of work within timeframes and quality requirements, share own expertise with others and guide and mentor less experienced employees.Plan, lead and manage the promulgation and enforcement of clear business rules and protocols.Accountable to ensure knowledge repositories are accessible and to encourage knowledge transfer throughout Department in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.Implement processes, tools and structures with the intent to increase, renew, share and improve the use of knowledge within the Department.Explain complex to very complex information in relation to structured and unstructured repositories of knowledge to promote the process of knowledge creation.Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders to understand their expectations and concerns to meet business objectives.Motivate and mentor teams, aligning complementary skills and allocates resources in a manner that delivers results.Assess and evaluate lessons learned and identify opportunities for continuous improvement for the work area.Recommend and initiate processes to improve the creation, sharing and application of knowledge.Implement procedures for the maintenance of knowledge management systems.Oral: High standard of persuasive oral skills to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including Service, APS and contracted personnel. Specifically, a high standard of oral communication is required when directing users on the use of Ringtail. Written: High level of written communication skills to articulate IT fault rectification requirements and seeking external system administrator support.
