12-Month Contract with a large Federal Agency in the Brisbane CBD
Your new company:
Hays has partnered with a large Federal Government Agency. This is an opportunity to join the agency on an initial 12-month contract based in the Brisbane CBD.
Your new role:
As the EL1 Intelligence Team Leader, you will be responsible for resolving issues and risks. You will be undertaking projects that are detailed and sensitive and may require varied activities involving unrelated processes or methods that may impact on the strategic or operational outcomes of the agency.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the team’s response function by addressing information requests, responding to senior management and ministerial enquiries, and assessing incoming matters to determine the necessary treatment.
- Leading and managing intelligence projects, creating high-quality strategic, tactical, and operational intelligence products that inform decision-making for both internal and external stakeholders. These efforts specifically target organised fraud within government programs.
- Collaborating with other agencies, sharing information and intelligence, and producing briefing papers, including link charts and reports.
- Developing reference and training materials to support the agency’s intelligence functions.
- Coordinating recruitment activities with the director and overseeing mandatory learning and team health and safety.
- Leading a team of Intelligence Coordination Officers who provide specialised advice to fraud investigation teams and partner agencies
What you'll need to succeed: - Applicants for this role MUST be Australian citizens.
- Knowledge, skills, and experience in fraud and intelligence.
- Working with Children Check
- Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) clearance
- Applicants must have or be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at “Negative Vetting Level 1”
- The successful applicant for this role will also be required to obtain an additional ACIC OSA clearance.
