Your new company:
Hays has partnered with a large Federal Government Agency which is going through a period of significant growth. This is an opportunity to join the agency on an initial 12-month contract based in Brisbane CBD with hybrid working arrangements.
Your new role:
The assistant director of Research and Evaluation will support the delivery of an internal service that conducts Research and Evaluation using a range of methods to inform Agency decisions. The position has reasonable autonomy and accountability to exercise both initiative and judgement to interpret legislation and policy in the application of practices and procedures to achieve outcomes within the functions.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Working with external and internal stakeholders to scope, deliver and govern the evaluation.
• Preparing ethics and site governance applications.
• Collecting and analysing a range of quantitative, qualitative and survey data, including coordinating other members of the Research and Evaluation Branch on such activities.
• Preparing and presenting reports and slide-pack summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
• Designing and conducting other research projects, including working with people with various types of disabilities and from various cultural backgrounds.
