This is an opportunity to join our Human Resources team to contribute to the development of a strong learning culture by designing, developing, and delivering engaging training programs and people initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- In consultation with management, contribute to key initiatives such as workplace culture and employee engagement, workforce planning, Learning and development, and leadership development.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of Council's Competency Framework and deliver a program of capability development that aligns with this Framework.
- Contribute to the development, promotion, and monitoring of Council’s in-house training and development activities, including the facilitation of in-house training programs in a blended learning delivery environment.
- Coordinate end-to-end Learning and Organisational development administrative activities including monitoring all training budget activities, processing learning requests, scheduling courses, actioning position skills maps and assessments, coordinating program evaluations, and maintaining accurate and effective record-keeping practices.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will require;
- Tertiary level qualifications in human resources, business management, organizational psychology or a related discipline and/or previous experience in organizational development functions with a focus on professional Learning and development initiatives.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment desired but not mandatory.
- Well developed understanding of adult learning principles, including the ability to facilitate differentiated learning to a variety of adult learners.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of organizational development, continuous improvement, business planning and personal development initiatives.

Scenic Rim Regional Council offers great superannuation, flexible working arrangements and excellent working conditions. This position offers a salary range between $ 86,908 and $ 90,531 p.a.
