NSW Fair Trading are looking for an experienced Senior Project Officer (Data Governance) working within a team of data governance, platform, analytics, reporting and intelligence specialists driving a data-driven, intelligence led approach to strategic decision making and business operations.
In this role, you will;
- Be responsible for managing data governance initiatives across Fair Trading, including regular audits to ensure compliance with data sharing agreements
- Define and oversee implementation of data governance standards, guidelines and training material
- Contribute to a team of multi-skilled data governance, platform, analytics, reporting and intelligence specialists, identifying synergies, enhancing productivity and fostering innovation
- Build, manage and effectively collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders

- Knowledge and experience with DAMA DMBOK, legal and governance frameworks, data security principles, data management tools, business glossaries and data lineage analysis
- Solutions oriented, critical thinker with a demonstrated record of delivery
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
- High level of integrity and experience dealing with sensitive data
