Our client, a federal government agency who looks after the national improvement in healthcare systems, is looking to recruit an EL 1
Senior Project Officer –
Strategy and Innovation to support the strategic reform and planning agenda of the department. This is a key role that collaborates cross functional teams to drive initiatives with organisational strategy.As an EL 1
Senior Project Officer, you will be developing policies and strategic advice regarding evolving / emerging policy and operational issues. You will also be undertaking research and analysis, as well as complex stakeholder management.Your other responsibilities will also include, but not be limited to:
- - Supporting the development and implementation of strategic plans and processes
- - Reviewing and analysing published literature, data and policy papers
- - Preparing public reports and other documents on complex healthcare issues
- - Facilitating meetings and developing briefings and resources
To be considered for this role, you will be an Australian citizen and have the following skills and experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Strong experience in evidence analysis and strategic planning
- Excellent skills in project and program management
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- High level of internal and external stakeholder interaction skills
- Previous experience / knowledge in healthcare system and government policy will be highly regarded
