Form of workPosition Requirements The EL1/EL2 Property Capital Works (Labour Hire) is an important team leadership position within the agency and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant\detail.
The role is required to provide leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the team membership and assigned Contractors working within the work area. Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Leading and managing detailed and sensitive property projects.
- Managing end-to-end construction project management including, planning, design, approvals, procurement, delivery and handover.
- Writing business cases, plans, executive briefs, project reports, status updates and exception reports.
- Developing research and analysis, including the preparation of draft reports on project activities.
- Managing the project budgets, reviewing and reporting on expenditure.
- Identifying and managing program governance including the management of project risks, issues and benefits.
- Establishing and managing procurement and contracts for the delivery of the programme and monitor contractor performance.
- Leading and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and encourage high performance and collaborative behaviours.
Key skills required for the role
- Property capital projects experience with complex scope.
- Relevant experience in project leadership and management roles.
- Qualification in Project Management
- Deep knowledge of Project Management and Construction management systems and principles.
