As the Level Property Capital Works leader, you'll play a pivotal role in our client's Corporate, Information, and Property Services Branch. Your responsibilities will span from project leadership to detailed construction management, ensuring the successful delivery of centralized corporate services and management of the property portfolio.
About the role:
As the EL2 Level Property Capital Works (Labour Hire) leader, you'll play a pivotal role in our client's Corporate, Information, and Property Services Branch. Your responsibilities will span from project leadership to detailed construction management, ensuring the successful delivery of centralized corporate services and management of the property portfolio.
You will:
Lead and manage detailed property projects from initiation to completion.
Oversee end-to-end construction project management, including planning, design, approvals, procurement, delivery, and handover.
Draft business cases, plans, executive briefs, project reports, and status updates.
Conduct research and analysis, preparing draft reports on project activities.
Manage project budgets, reviewing and reporting on expenditure.
Identify and manage program governance, including project risks, issues, and benefits.
Establish and manage procurement and contracts for project delivery, monitoring contractor performance.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and encourage high performance and collaboration within the team.
The skills and attributes you bring:
Extensive experience in construction project management, preferably within a property or real estate context.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven experience in budget management and financial reporting.
Ability to analyse complex issues and provide innovative solutions.
Experience in procurement and contract management.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations pertaining to property and construction.
Ability to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
