AddressElectrical and Refrigeration Technician
We are searching for an experienced Electrical & Refrigeration Technician at our Bankstown facility. This position is responsible for electrical systems and HVAC assets on site to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. The successful candidate will actively undertake installations, commissioning, preventative maintenance and troubleshoot breakdowns for electrical systems and HVAC assets onsite.
Snapshot of the role:
Responsible for carrying out Planned Maintenance activities
Responsible for carrying out Reactive Works including troubleshooting breakdowns.
Safely conducting tasks applying risk assessment and SWMS to reduce the likelihood of harm.
Provide feedback and reporting on works conducted.
Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of HVAC systems and with a focus on cold room storage units.
Install, maintain, and repair industrial HVAC systems and components install, maintain and repair package units, changing out of filters, belts and pulleys as required.
Diagnose and troubleshoot problems in HVAC systems and recommend solutions.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to ensure they are operating efficiently.
Provide recommendations on HVAC systems.
What we are looking for:
Trade qualified and licenced to carry out electrical works and Refrigeration and air conditioning.
Certification with Refrigerant Trading Authorisation (RTA) issued by the Australian
Refrigeration Council (ARC)
Strong knowledge of electrical control circuit wiring including hard wired “relay” logic.
Previous experience/training in VSD’s, PLC, HMI and SCADA programming
High level of understanding of electrical principles wiring and installations.
Understanding of fire systems (Desirable)
Licenced to purchase, storage and handling of refrigerant gases.(preferred)
