ABOUT THE BUSINESS
Remec Electrics is a reputable WA company specialising in commercial refrigeration and mechanical electrical services. Remec prides itself in staying at the forefront of evolving technology, equipment and control systems in the industry.
Remec are seeking an Electrical Apprentice who demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and take direction. The successful candidate will enjoy problem solving, working with their hands and possess a strong work ethic.
The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in the electrical industry
- Possess a Certificate II in Electrotechnology (desirable)
- Must be willing to undertake shift style work including evenings and weekends as required
- Hold a current C Class driver’s licence and have own transport
- Hold a current EWPA license (desirable)
- Ability to listen, follow instructions and ask for assistance when required
- Ability to work well with others
- Be punctual and reliable
- Understand and abide by workplace health and safety regulations
The selected candidate will be trained in various aspects of electrics. Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Cable and cable tray installation
- Switchboard work
- PLC controls
- Motor wiring
- Cool Room wiring
Please note: Whilst the workshop is located in Malaga, work can take you across Perth and WA. You must also be available to work evenings and weekends as required.
Location: Malaga (Workshop) with various site locations across Perth & WA
Work Type: Full time apprenticeship.
