Skillinvest is currently seeking 1st, 2nd OR 3rd Year Electrical Apprentices looking for an opportunity to commence or complete a Certificate III Electrotechnology. Based locally in Mornington, you will receive ongoing mentoring whilst working towards becoming a trade qualified Electrician.
Our host is a well-established electrical business specialising in new home builds - with over 300 projects on the go at any time, no two days are the same. Our apprentices will work alongside skilled A Grade Electricians and will gain valuable hands-on experience in a safe and professional environment.
Duties
- Read electrical, architectural, and mechanical diagrams, drawing, specifications
- Test for, locate and repair electrical malfunctions
- Install electrical equipment and electronic control systems and cables
- Connect electrical equipment, switches, outlets, fittings, and circuit breakers
- Maintain electrical processes
Requirements
- Pre-apprenticeship Certificate II in Electrotechnology
- Strong mathematical and technical skills
- Logistical thinking and diagnostic ability
- Willingness to commit to work and study
