The Opportunity
We have a sweet opportunity for an Electrical Automation Technician.
About the role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and systems for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance inspections
- Complete preventative and routine maintenance works.
- Reduce downtime eliminating by technical support and fault finding of mechanical issues throughout the shift.
- Installation of electrical equipment.
- Proactively share ideas for continuous improvement that promote maximum efficiency to our plant.
- Partner with the Automation Engineer and Reliability Engineer to provide solutions.
This role works on a rotating roster.
About you
This is an opportunity to build your skills and experience. What you will bring:
- Full NSW licensed electrician with similar experience in a manufacturing environment or fast paced trouble shooting environment
- Basic Automation skills/experience is desired
- PLC fault finding & SCADA knowledge is highly regarded
- Excellent problem solving skills
- A safety-first mindset.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders and functions across the entire organisation.
