Here’s where you come in
As an Electrical Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for providing a wide variety of calibration and repairs to the site instruments.
You will have experience in a similar role and have worked within a fast paced, regulated environment.
Your responsibilities, at a glance:
- Ensuring that all relevant calibrations are carried out as per the calibration schedule/register
- Responsible for error rectification and repairs in instrumentation deemed to be defective/faulty
- Arrange for external repair of plant and expedite as required
- Ensure equipment uptime is achieved by completing safe, effective and efficient Electrical Calibration
- Participate and contribute to existing and upcoming projects
- Ensure all work is carried out to meet the Company’s safety, housekeeping and GMP requirements whilst conforming to all statutory regulations.
- Work closely with production operators, engineering and QA with regards to calibration and improvement issues
You need to tick these boxes
- Dual Trades in electrical and instrumentation advantageous
- Sound problem solving, communication, customer focus and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management systems (CMMS)
- High level of computer literacy
- An understanding of GMP/Regulatory environment. (Desirable)
- Lead or participated in a reliability program and Root cause analysis (Desirable)
- Experience working in hazardous and confined space areas
- EWP and forklift licence (Desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of WHS regulations/procedures
- Whilst this position is predominantly a day shift role, there may be work required on evenings or weekends from time to time.
