We are recruiting for an experienced and motivated Electrical Coordinator with underground coal mining experience to join our team.

As an entrusted key leader of our operations team, you will be required to ensure successful delivery of the business plan, as well as supporting key stakeholders to guide our safety culture and obligations.
Key Responsibilities;
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Electrical Coordinator will be responsible for;
- Providing technical support to ensure mining equipment and infrastructure operate safely and efficiently
- Manage trades to execute weekly/daily plans which will require, but are not limited to; maintenance, repair and overhaul of major mining equipment
- Conducting inspections and audits to ensure compliance with legislative and statutory requirements
- Ensuring hazard identification and risk assessment principles are adhered to, maintaining compliance with the site safety management system
- Engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Advanced planning and problem solving to provide practical advice to optimise the value of the mine focusing on safety and production
- Facilitate training and professional development for electricians
- Organise, manage and execute the delivery of parts and equipment to the site and the required underground job location
- Provide regular reports and maintain clear communication with relevant stakeholders.
Essential Criteria:
- Electrical of Proficiency Certificate
- Electrical Licence
- Experience in an underground coal mining operation
- Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems, and a continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to influence and build relationships across site and technical experts in our organisation
- A strong background in ensuring hazard identification and risk assessment principles, coupled with the compliance of all statutory matters relating to legislation and the site safety management system.

- Current and valid GUI accreditation
- You will be required to complete a National Police History Check for this role
