In this role, you'll:
Join our Facilities Management team, reporting to the Technical Manager Electrical, you will be responsible for providing support, authorised access and low voltage isolations for projects and low voltage maintenance.
You will provide technical advice about electrical assets to stakeholders undertaking work on Sydney Trains and NSW Trains facilities. The role is also responsible for performing asset corrective repair and routine inspection assurance and produce associated reports.
You will provide 24/7 on call support when required for all low voltage maintenance and construction projects.

About you
We’re looking for someone who can bring enthusiasm and a fresh view of low voltage operations in rail.
Bring your balance of technical knowledge and problem–solving skills to this forward thinking team.
You’re able to establish relationships and will enjoy communicating with a broad range of stakeholders on a regular basis. You’re also keen to further your knowledge of substations and high and low voltage distribution networks and assets.
You will also hold or be willing to obtain the following:
- Qualified Supervisor Certificate (Electrical Work) or a Contractor Licence (Electrical – Q)
- Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card
- WorkCover NSW White Card (General Construction Industry Card)
- Authorised Person (Low Voltage) certification
- Assess Corridor Safety - (ACS) is a certification that allows qualified persons to assess the potential for work activities and/or equipment to encroach the Danger Zone and risks in the Rail Corridor
