About the Role
You will be joining a well-established company with a successful 30-year track record in the manufacturing of custom electrical switchboard solutions.
You will be responsible for leading the switchboard projects and managing the design and manufacturing program to ensure a successful outcome. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering exceptional projects for clients and is not afraid to think creatively.

Duties:
- Overseeing and developing switchboard designs based on customer requirements and project estimates
- Liaising with clients regarding design approval and any variations
- Liaising with customers, and working to develop and maintain customer relationships
- Monitoring workshop construction and fit-out, and inspecting completed projects before dispatch
- Establish and maintain accurate files for all project documentation, which ensures ease of retrieval
Skills and Experience:
- Specialist experience in designing low-voltage switchboards, desirable but not essential.
- Electrical Trade or Electrical Engineering Qualification, desirable but not essential
- Proven background in project management and leading small teams
- Proficient in interpreting single-line diagrams and schematics, with expert knowledge of switchboard standards, electrical standards, and wiring rules,
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- and troubleshooting abilities
- Capable of managing multiple simultaneous projects, including project scheduling, delivery, and stakeholder management
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Office
