Access theAs Field Officer, you will:
- Identify opportunities and undertake activities which advocate and promote the benefits of training, skills development; VET pathway options; workforce development initiatives and the department's offerings across employment programs and services and small business support to clients and stakeholders including employers, schools, training organisations, community-based organisations, industry bodies, enterprises, and individuals.
- Participate in the monitoring of stakeholder performance through a process of continuous improvement and stakeholder education and capacity building.
- Strengthen the vocational education and training system in the region by developing and maintaining professional collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders through a wide range of capacity building initiatives and project management activities.
- Provide a high-level service in the application of relevant corporate governance procedures of the department including team building, quality service delivery, event planning and delivery, project management, customer satisfaction, record keeping, occupational health and safety, employment equity and anti-discrimination practices.
- Prepare a range of documentation and correspondence in accordance with departmental communication protocols, information standards and records and project management procedures, including responses to requests from the Minister and senior departmental officers.
