Our client is an industry leader in Electrical, Power and Control Systems Engineering Services. They are looking for an electrical designer to help strengthen their team as they execute a diverse portfolio of local and international projects.
The Role:
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing electrical design and drafting support to the project’s teams. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing electrical design and drafting support as part of the multidisciplinary unit
- Producing single line, schematic and termination diagrams as required
- Coordinate drawings for various projects, ensuring revised and accurate documentation
- Review and recommend design improvements in consultation with the wider project team.
- Liaise with clients, relevant authorities and suppliers as required to ensure accuracy of drawings.
About You:
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess a combination of work experience, skills and/or qualifications in the following areas:
- Demonstrated project design experience within a minerals processing environment will be highly regarded.
- Ability to develop Single Line, Schematic and Termination Diagrams,
- Technically proficient in industry software such as AutoCAD and MicroStation with some exposure to 3D Modelling.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with a solid degree of organization and time management skills
- A growth mindset and the willingness to adapt and learn
