About the role
As an Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for Electrical Blueprint of the mine (Located 1hr West of Bowen) and provide specialist technical expertise and Project Management support to the operation.
In addition, your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the governance of the Asset Integrity within the CHPP;
- Review, update and approve the complete set of Electrical technical documentation (International, National & Site engineering standards, equipment standards, specifications, datasheets, procedures, programs and drawings) from which the Operation is designed, constructed, operated and maintained;
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge to support projects, maintenance, operations and third parties and contractors to align with client engineering standards;
- Participate in reviews and audits and collaborate with discipline engineers;
- Support and govern the accurate maintenance of the Operation's blueprint (engineering standards, specifications drawings, processes, systems and procedures), ensuring approved modifications of its plant, equipment and infrastructure;
- Validate that the content of technical documentation is maintained to reflect the “as built” condition as per authorized modifications and changes; and
- Ensure maintenance of physical and electronic documentation against defined document management standards.
- Tertiary qualifications Electrical Engineering.
- 3-5 years’ experience working in the Coal Mining Industry
- Ability to interpret and implement Electrical technical standards.
- Ability to interpret, analyse and present reports to a range of key stakeholders.
- Current Coal Board and Standard 11 (not essential).
