Fink Engineering is continually growing so therefore we are seeking to add a dynamic Senior Electrical Engineer to our team.
Whilst head office is located on the Sunshine Coast, production is located in Geelong where we assemble our hyperbaric systems for delivery and commissioning worldwide. Our systems are custom built to meet the rigorous quality control and safety standards that must comply with the international requirements for Medical Devices including ISO9001, ISO13485, ASME PVHO-1, the TGA, FDA and others.
We require strong electrical design and implementation expertise to bolster our Electrical Engineering department with design and production.
The successful applicant will require knowledge and proficiency in the following areas and be willing to learn and adapt to the ever-challenging changes that have become a norm in the electrical instrumentation and software fields. Other competencies include;
- Must be a Chartered Engineer with a valid Certificate of Registration with Engineers Australia and be listed in the National Engineers Register.
- Certificate of Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland and or Victoria is also desirable but not mandatory.
- Registration as a Practising Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the USA is also desirable but not mandatory
- Member of the Australian Institute of Engineers
- Proficient in Autocad, Rhino, Excel, MS Word, Outlook and MS Office
- Australian electrical standards for power and instrumentation
- A willingness to learn and work to the above-mentioned international standards
- Hands on instrumentation wiring capabilities
- Familiarity with 110/220/240/440 volt single and three phase 50/60 Hz power circuits
- Software control systems including process control using PC’s & PLC’s
- Strong electrical design and documentation capabilities including the production of drawings using Autocad
- Installation of CCTV systems, communications, environmental control, gas analysis, low pressure air systems including compressors, filtration and refrigerated dryers
- Monitoring our cybersecurity network for control systems
- Trouble shooting our proprietary FEGen4 software control systems
- Assisting in the testing, commissioning and maintenance of our systems at our production facility in Geelong and on site at our locations throughout Australia, USA, UAE, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore and others
- Be willing to travel regularly, have a valid passport and driver’s license
