Power Station Operations: Contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the power station, ensuring continuous availability of electricity to meet demand. Monitor and analyse electrical systems and equipment performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities to ensure reliability and integrity of electrical infrastructure. Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment uptime Participate in capital projects and upgrades, from conceptual design through to implementation and commissioning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are achieved on time and within budget. Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices. Support audits and inspections, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain regulatory compliance. Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements within the electrical systems and operations. Implement innovative solutions to enhance performance and reliability. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in Electrical Engineering within a major heavy industrial facility the energy or power generation industry. Strong knowledge of power generation systems, electrical equipment, and control systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
