Kingaroy State High School has a unique opportunity for an Agricultural Assistant to work within our agricultural program. This position is full time 38hrs per week with the available provision to do ADO (accumulated days off, school holidays). As the Agricultural Assistant you will contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the school by providing a high level of agricultural systems support to the school and the Ag Department.

Kingaroy State High School is a co-educational State High School, officially opening on 8 August 1959. It offers Years 7 to 12. These include instrumental music ensembles, team sport, individual sport, public speaking, debating, Duke of Edinburgh, choir, show cattle teams, agriculture and sister school exchanges to Japan.

Role:
- Ensure that the agricultural field study sites, animals, crops, machinery and equipment used by the school are maintained in a functional, secure and safe manner.
- Provide support to teachers during practical agricultural class activities.
- Provide general assistance with teaching material for agricultural classes.
This is a OO2 progression position as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the OO2 classification with eligibility for progression to the OO3 level once specific criteria have been met. Please note salary rate shown is reflective of OO2 to OO3 classification range.
