Key Responsibilities:
As the Electrical Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing leadership, guidance, and strategic expertise in electrical, electronic, and control systems projects. Manage a team of engineers, leading them in end-to-end project delivery, ensuring safety, quality, and financial objectives are met. From Engineering Project Delivery management to team leadership, your responsibilities will contribute to the success of the Engineering unit.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Degree or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering with multiple years of Electrical Engineering Management experience.
- Membership in the Institute of Engineers Australia is preferable.
- Expertise in materials handling, power, controls, and automation disciplines.
- Project management qualifications, training, or experience.
- Strong financial and contractual acumen.
- Competency with AutoCAD and engineering design tools.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale industrial Electrical Engineering projects to completion and within budget.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Team player fostering positive working relationships based on trust and integrity.
