What's on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with experienced Project Engineer - Electrical for our Water/Civil Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for:
Working with our Design Team, Site Engineering and Supervisory Team for the management of complex Electrical projects
Development and management of project schedules, updating production plans and working to weekly and monthly schedules
Assist with the development of Scope of Works and contracts for sub-contractors, managing and approvals of variations, initiating and executing work to minimise cost ensuring they are in line with the forecasted revenue
Design review, issue tender documents, procurement, expediting, site installation and commissioning assistance of electrical packages
Attend and participate in HAZOPs, SiD reviews, CHAIR's and other workshops as required
Overseeing practical completion documentation
Manage the ITP's
How you'll connect to the role:
A degree level qualification in Engineering (Electrical)
Sound experience in a Project Engineering role
Experience on construction projects in water infrastructure, including Water Treatment Plants
Knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and look-aheads
A strong safety focus
