- Collaborating with Engineers on the design and layout of electrical installations for infrastructure, including substations, switches, cabling systems, and motor control systems.
- Executing planned improvements through the installation and fabrication of electrical plans.
- Managing inventory by tracking and ordering necessary consumables and materials, adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Assembling, testing, updating, and monitoring all electrical equipment to ensure compliance with legal and safety requirements.
- Installing assemblies for protection relays, metering, and monitoring devices.
- Conducting regular inspections and implementing preventive maintenance measures to minimize downtime.
- Diagnosing and efficiently repairing electrical faults.
- Building, calibrating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical instruments and testing equipment.
- Motor control, PLC, control panel wiring, testing, and inspection.

Education:
Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering technology or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years proven experience as an Electrical Engineering Technician.
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems commonlyused in mining operations.
- Competent level of English language.
- IELTS/ PTE/ CAE(functional level) or
- Studied in English starting from secondary education.
Other Skills:
- Previous work experience, especially in a mining or industrial setting.
- Extensive knowledge of Electrical Engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems commonly used in mining operations.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols is crucial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are important.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Electrical Workers License or relevant certifications are a plus.
